Know your liver, B aware, C a Dr
One of the earliest steps in caring for the liver is getting tested and knowing the risk factors for hepatitis B and C.
During the World Hepatitis Day campaign in Malaysia, to be observed from July 23 to 28 this year, participating healthcare centres will be providing free screening and information on vaccination.
The 17 medical faculties across the country which have committed to the campaign will also organise public forums and a photo exhibition.
Besides raising awareness, the campaign, themed "Know your liver, B aware, C a Dr", is also aimed at providing referral support for newly-diagnosed patients.
